Starting off in Panama City!

Thursday 21st September the first day of our 8 month trip around Central + South America.

Honestly this was just a travel day where we no more then crash out in our hostel once we arrived.

Day 2 we spent our time wandering around the city. Panama City has a very modern section and the the old quarter 'Casca Viejo' which was very charming but also still undergoing a large refurbishment.

We ended the night with an awesome mix of seafood from the market. Best red snapper ever!

The next day we wondered around the shopping centre for some air con 😂. We came across a mini art display reflecting the life of refugees.

Then went to catch a glimpse of the Panama Canal, we didn't really want to pay to go in as it is just a massive lock and I have seen them work before.

However it still counts as ticking of a "modern wonder of the world" of my bucket list!
